Since 1954, this annual event of traditional Bahamian sloop sailing takes place in George Town’s Elizabeth Harbour during the last full week of April each year. It is the oldest and largest wooden boat racing in The Bahamas and attracts the best sailors from all of the islands to compete to be the best in their class.
A Unique, Chill Experience
We always have a great time at Chat N Chill, its just fun hanging out there and is a great spot for photographs. We rented a boat from Minns to get there but the water taxis are an easy and fairly inexpensive way to get there too.

There are just some places that you visit and say "wow, what a cool place!" That was my experience. We had burgers for lunch which were fine, but the atmosphere was incredible. A classic Caribbean beach bar...

We stopped at the Chat 'N' Chill on our Stocking Island trip. I tried the conch for the first time and I really liked it. The bar was full as expected but the beach was nice and people were having a great time. Feeding the stingrays was cool and I enjoyed our stop.
